At The Bread and Cup.com, our mission is to understand the Christian faith through the New Testament witness. We adhere to a steadfast commitment to the teachings of the Bible, rejecting denominational affiliations such as Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, Orthodox, Catholic, Pentecostal, or any other man-made sect. We do not submit to creeds, confessions, manuals, disciplines, or catechisms; instead, we stand as Christians only, guided solely by the Bible. We consciously refrain from being influenced by man-made doctrines of Europeans from the 16th to the 19th century, councils from the 4th to the 8th century, or "church fathers." Our unwavering dedication is to be Christians only, conforming to the Bible only. Additionally, we are wholeheartedly committed to guiding people in obeying the gospel, which includes believing in the saving work (death, burial, resurrection) and person of the Lord Jesus Christ, repenting of sins, and being baptized for the remission of sins (John 3:5-16; Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; Acts 16:31; Acts 22:16; Romans 10:9-10). Our primary aim remains addressing religious divisions and promoting unity within the community, as denominational distinctions lack scriptural authority and are unnecessary, as stated in 1 Corinthians 1:10. We firmly believe that the Word of God can heal these divisions. This transformation can only occur by shedding man-made traditions and embracing New Testament teachings. Our hope is that we communicate in the spirit of Colossians 4:5-6. Thank you for being a part of our pursuit of faith and unity.
